Big thanks to Zafar and his wife! They treated me like family, cooking delicious breakfasts and even sometimes providing free meals. They were always there to help with anything I needed. the dorm room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning to keep cool. the kitchen was well-equipped and the living room had plenty of comfy couches. the toilet and shower rooms were clean and the WiFi worked well. the hostel is conveniently located near a supermarket and a small park, not far from the central market. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in town.
There were no negative aspects to my stay at this hostel. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and felt welcomed and well taken care of.

A lovely garden and terrace to enjoy. Breakfast options were great - continental or halal, something for everyone. Nice to have a shared lounge and tour desk too.
Oh, just couldn't handle the excitement of the unstable wifi in the dorm rooms. How thrilling.

Salom Hostel was worth every penny! The room was clean and cozy, and the location was convenient. The staff treated me like family and were really good too make me feel at home.
The menu for breakfast could use a bit more variety.
